    Hi jgscisum...you are right...back to basics...a low output or complete siginal loss can be caused by the front panel MODE SELECTOR switch and INPUT SELECTOR switch having dirty contacts. I use CAIG DEOXIT 5... MAC LABS also uses it! Hope you are feeling better.

    Resolder left channel driver board connector. Driver board overdue for a full recap. Not rocket science...37 yrs old!

    Mcintosh MA 6200 Integreated amp

    Left channel hum & hissing sound...hum gets louder as unit warms up. Sometimes a crackling sound occurs. Unit is 34yrs old... have complete service info & parts list. Original owner...purchased new.
