Did you hook it up on a scope to see how it amplifies? Does the 1060 deliveres its rated power output?

I am looking/searching for 2 woofers for my RF-7 MK1. I sent an Email to Klipsch but no answer.... Type: K1089A ( If i'm correct) I am from the Netherlands.

I repaired this model. Double rectifiers in the p/supp were exploded. After a lot of cleaning,adjusting (bias /offset) resoldering, i turned it on hooked on the dummyload / tone generator etc and it switched on. Tested it @ full power. Everything fine. The solderings are stil a mess. Clean the pcb and do them properly.

The 8b is a very nice power amp and it is all you need, trust me. ;-)
