Reading through this thread, it makes me wonder how most folks approach the purchase of vintage equipment. Do folks build a system around speakers or does one choose their system, then find an appropriate set of speakers?

You could try dry transfers. These are not long lasting or all that durable. But, if left alone, they should last.

They are also available on eBay. I'm not sure if they are being sold by the same guy as here.

I don't see water damage. The G-9000 is a really nice piece of kit. I would clean it up and put it into service.

OOPS, my bad. What I should have said is that some folks thought the original graphics are printed directly on a painted/e-coated/powder coated metal surface. In other words, not a sticker. I am sorry for the error.

I recall a discussion about these very stickers, quite some time ago. I was of the opinion that the graphics were printed or silk screened directly on a painted surface. Other folks felt the graphics were in fact a sticker. :dunno:
