My local dispensary has a 5mg edible which is an indica and elderberry blend. So nice. Just an easy slide in then constant for the next couple hours for tunes. Then easy off to sleep.
This was my best thristy scroe so far. JVC QL-A75. I added the Nagaoka cart. I wasn't even going to shop but my gut told me to stop in and I saw it there. At first I thought it said 299.99 (which still would have been a fair price) but then saw it said 29.99 and I had a $10 off coupon so 19.99 +...
I don't find it homely at all. I like the simpler design. My opinion, something like the C33 is too busy. If I want knobs per square inch, I'll break out the Pioneer SA-9100...lol
To be fair, that's always going to happen - especially amongst gear heads. lolol. I'm sure you can make a point that X is better on a C29 or Y on a C32, etc... Don't listen too much to that talk, comparison is the thief of joy.
I'm going to pile on for the c26 love here. I picked one up on the cheap and had it redone. Once I figured out a voltage mismatch between my amp and C26 (with some help from @Refugee), it's been nothing but heavenly. I personally prefer the simpler design v. newer units but, I only run a TT and...
Thanks, man! The 506 is a real sweet piece. I'd been eyeing them up for a while and when one showed up on the marketplace, I couldn't resist. I'm glad I didn't now. Next step, getting it update with some LED's and banana plug connnects!
So, I popped back by the house on my lunch break and I think you nailed the issue. Turning the gain back to 6 from 10 gave me more than enough volume and tamped the hum down to where I could only hear it with my ear right next to the speaker. Which is well within acceptable tolerances for my...
This is where me and Mrs Fury end our days, some good tunes, a little vino and a chance to just sit and chat about the day, if even just for 30 minutes. The white couch will move in to our addition once it's done and we'll add a bigger rug in here
Balance works perfectly. I did work all the switches last night with no meaning ful effect on the sound. The volume does increase the sound of the hum.
I'm torn on whether I can live with it. It's really no so bad with the Loudness knob adjusted. That said, I did just pay to have it completely...
Thanks!
1) It does not. I know this because I put the power amp on first
2) Good question - will have to check
3) I believe so. I have the spectroid freq analyzer app on my phone and it was centered around 60hz but I can double check
Thanks again, I appreciate all input. Now that I think it through a bit, you're right - I do see how that could create a ground loop... ugh. I'm pretty confident it's not the source. I disconnected all inputs and was able to detect the hum on a empty pre-amp and regardless of what input was...
Thanks, I did try that (read it on another forum.. lol) and I'm thinking a grounding issue as well. I'm pretty comfortable with the interconnects, I just re-did them all and have the power and signal lines completely separate. Do you think it would help to run a separate ground line back to the...
