    broken lead fix?

ok, I soldered a ring terminal to it and put a small blob of gorilla glue around the base to keep it from coming loose. Feels tight. I hope it doesn't cause some chemical reaction.

Basic recap and restore BOM parts list on Kenwood KA-4002 integrated amp

By including a grounding prong, you increase the chance on a ground loop. I did put one on a KA-7300 and it's fine. I guess it's circumstantial

    Ground Loop Kenwood KA7002

I think you need some flux. Put some new solder on the tip then put the iron on the lugs. Or use a flux pen

    Ground Loop Kenwood KA7002

Although im a complete noob, I just wanted to say I had exactly the same type of buzz/humm when I connected teh main filter caps wrong on my KA7300, so my shitty guess would be those caps too, pull em out and test?

    Sand that Sony

It's supposedly a SEAS H295 tweeter. My best bet would be buying another SS-G1 set with functioning tweeters i guess. They are offered more regularly then separate components. Maybe I should just save the moneys and buy a SS-G4 whenever it pops up. I heard someone say this was the best sounding...
