You have a center channel on the Scott. It is a mono channel. Use the spring loaded terminals on the sub....left or right....doesn't matter since it's a mono signal and hook directly to center channel on the Scott. Works perfectly for my Fisher tubes.

I use center speaker output on my Fisher for sub. Your Scott has one......give it a try.

Yes....Jenson 8uf caps and Seas tweets and drivers. All original. I may just change out just one of the 8uf's that I just installed with a 5uf and compare results.

Everything I have read shows a 5.0 uf replacement for the A-25. Mine has 8.0 uf that is original. I replaced with 8.0 and they sound ok. Why do most have the lower value. If I changed mine to lower value would they sound much different. thx

Interesting post.....I had a KA-1000 back in the late 80's and it was a very good amp. Gave it to my son years ago and have been looking for another since with no success. I did however find a KA-800 in great condition for cheap cheap. I never used the sigma drive on the KA-1000 for some reason...

Still tweaking my University 312/200 triaxial.. I also have a semi- open back....boxes look similar to yours. Experimenting with damping material, ports etc. Often pair with Elac DB6.2 on A+B to accentuate the highs. All hooked to my Fisher 800C.

Anyone familiar with Fisher model 10x cabinet. Curious if it will fit my X-202B.

I've used Alpha Tech for TT repair but never tubes. Last time they told me it would be a prohibitively expensive job.
