Enjoyed a nice afternoon at Overture, Wilmington, De listening to Wendell Diller demo his superb 30.7 speakers. Electronics were all Esoteric Grandioso. The listen room, a spacious 19' wide and over 29' deep provided plenty of room for these babies to sing and sing they did !

Listened to these the other day and while the looks can be somewhat 'polarizing' the sound was very good to my ears. As a long time planar / electrostatic guy this is the first pair of sub 15k speakers that actually made me 'sit down and take listen' …………. any others out there with a take ...

I've recently come by a nice stash of SACD's and while my current CD player (Cary 303/300) is a great unit it doesn't play SACD. What are your opinions on the Marantz players (SA8005) or anything else that might be in and around that price point.

last weekend while up in Watkins Glen enjoying the 'rainy' 6 hour endurance race, Fri nite after dinner in Corning, NY look what I saw parked on a side street in downtown Corning ………. not exactly the 'F150' we're all used to seeing !

This past weekend we held an excursion on our railroad (Mohawk Adirondack & Northern) as a tribute to my Dad (25 years retired) and his 41 years of service to NYC, PC and Conrail. We ran Dave Link's private car from Utica, NY to Thendara and back, complete with a First Class Pullman meal on board.
