Many youtube channels on chess. Put a free chess program on your phone and play against that for practice. Check the thrifts for chess books, lots of them out there. Don't get discouraged if you're not a quick learner, it's supposed to be fun. Searching for Bobby Fischer is a good movie also.

Get them both! I know a guy who has a couple of Lencos and a Russco Studio Pro B. He also has way too many other tables. If I had to choose one only, it would be the Lenco.

Can't tell from the picture what model that is, or even if it is a heavy or light platter model. If it is a heavy platter model you will be hard pressed to start with something better to sink some money into and have a great table at the end. Any others photos available?
