well, I tried to change the cartridge, turns out it's not a P mount...... when I pulled the existing cartridge out the tone are wires tore.....

I have a question about my turntable. I am trying to change the cartridge .... bought an audio technica AT3482P but I don't know how to get the table out far enough so that I can get at the set screw.... ideas? I really don't want to break anything...

I didn't really need anything specific, I was just curious about it because I know nothing about it in terms of player quality.

I will post a picture as soon as I get home. It's the bottom piece of a component stereo system, opens and closes by having the table slide out the front. Linear tracking... full auto table. Thanks for the welcome!
