Does anyone else have RtR Speakers?

Love the pre-BIC RTR's. These are of my current RtR"s which someone called a RTR 1200d but I've never seen another pair I also have 4 180D's and used to have 2 280D's which were awesome.

Recomendation for "good" speakers with RCA jacks

If you are handy you can buy RCA terminal boards and replace the screws terminals. This way if you find a pair of speakers that you really like you can convert the terminals to RCA.

    RtR electrostatic speaker ID

Thanks A23g - the down firing woofer has numerous speaker connection points - for changing crossover? The top speaker has one set and I bi-amp them. The bottom bass cabinet is 19 1/2 " wide so I am guessing the woofer is 15".The speaker grills are in great shape with the round RtR logos - I'll...

Reactions ... Covid-19 second, third, fourth (booster) or 5th shots

Had my 1st and 2nd shot of Moderna with no problems. Then I had my 3rd booster shot. A couple of hours after that I woke up in my hallway - I had blacked out (fainted?) - never in my life have I done that. I bruised many ribs on my left side. Very strange. I would still get the shots...

Oven baked bacon. Am I the last to know about this??!!

It''s the only way I cook bacon now. Place on a lined cookie sheet, put in a cold oven, turn oven on to 420 degrees for 12-15 minutes. No splatter, flat bacon that is delicious.

One of my speakers just "stopped"

To narrow it down swap the two speakers and see if it follows the speaker. If it stays with the same channel then it is probably your amp.

    AC Contactors

If you are driving a highly inductive load - like a motor - the load should have arc suppression across the load otherwise the contacts will burn. Don't ask my what type - one rated for the voltage and current for your load.
