    Does anyone here like their Air-pods?

    I have the new AirPod pro and use them mostly on the bus commuting to work. They are fabulous for that, particularly in the afternoon when the noisy teenagers are going home from school. Good on music and the noise reduction is excelllent

    If you get it wrong, then you will notice poor bass I have purchased at least 2 pair of infinity with poor bass response and in both cases the watkins were miswired As previously said the technical sheets are very good for this

    Krell KAS - about 5 seconds until I hear the click of relays Then after about 30 min the cat thinks it is warm enough I can't hear a difference in that time

    Do LST count? Now my main speakers for the last year or so Set to position 3 on the spectral control seem to work best in my space as it is a working area and I dont always hang ouit in the sweet spot

    Vintage over Modern Gear

    I have a lot of old amps and speakers, but DAC and sources are new. Seems to work best that way for me as cost vs performance. I do worry about the lead-free solder and repairability of more modern equipment, but perhaps the better pars are more reliable. Though at 65 now perhaps it doesn't...

    Noticed this thread again recently and realized It has been over 8 years since I bought my Krell FBP-600C and posted here - time flies.     The timber is arched from what I can see but to get at it I would need to strip away the foam the EMIT on has some foam behind but I haven't taken it away to see properly I suspect that the wooden frames are planed to create the arches He foam is pretty old so It may be that I need to replace...
