    Emim's for sale in Holland

    Someone is selling 8 emim's which appear to be meant for perhaps renaissance or some RS speakers. I have no particular interest in them and have no idea how special/rare they are, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Initial asking price is 115 USD each. Ad here.

    Weird midrange panels on these RS 2.5's! What's the deal here?

    A friend just scored these RS 2.5's. Is this some kind of prototype? The EMITs look unusual too. The mids look a little like a sideways version of the prototype EMIMs from the QRS, or Monsoon planars... Does anyone know anything about these speakers?

    Scotch Tape on EMIM Diaphragm?

    Should an EMIM driver diaphragm have scotch tape on either side of the ribbons? I Opened one up and discovered this, not sure if it’s OEM, or if somebody did it afterwards? Thanks, Bob
