midrange

Does anyone rebuild these? I may have an issue with mine and wondering if there is anyone who can rebuild them or if I have to keep watch for working ones from auction sites.

Is this a logical way of adjusting the mid-band? Maybe my understanding of the loudness control is wrong, but wanted to ask here since it seems like what i'd like to do to compensate between turntable stylus'.
