I'm building a headphone amp. I'll install a 1/4" panel jack (female). I"m wondering if there would be any benefit to installing a 1/8" jack, in addition, while I'm at it.
(Not sure how I'd wire it, but I'd cross that bridge if I decided to do it.)
For the sake of simplicity and backward compatibility, i'd just go with a 1/4 jack and get a few of these. I've got this type of adapters everywhere. They stick out maybe 1/4" and are as solid and simple as a rock. Never had a problem after using them for many years.
