I recently picked up a 2000a receiver off CL. I removed the cover to clean it up and deoxit the controls. I noticed that most of the capacitors had a felt tip mark on the top; some red, some blue and some black. Was this done by the factory or is this an indication that some of the capacitors may have been replaced?

    thanks,

    Steve

Post up some clear pictures and we'll very likely be able to tell you what is original and what has been replaced. ;)

I thought the guy in Durham I bought mine from from was looking to do a recap and marked them. The original Elnas in mine were marked like that.
