Also wanted to record 3000 receiver, but sticker has fallen off
Got 'um, thanks. Not much you can do if the sticker falls off.
Got 'um. They will be in the June upload. Thanks.
Got 'um. Thanks guys.
Is there a category for Sansui furniture?

Thanks guys, I have them. I've been out of town and am a week or so behind in picking these up.
Welcome to AudioKarma Exclusively Sansui and making serial numbers your first post.
That's a very interesting piece. There is no specific category for furniture but we do have some of the vertical racks on file. If it has a conventional Sansui serial number I'll add it in. I didn't see a serial number in any of the photos.
very weird case: a AT-15S with serial number 1X3 ????
An employee having monday morning blues ?
PS: in case somebody would be interested in a mint QS-1 in original carton:
BA-3000, 246070068, audiolab1
This seems to be the latest production serial number in the current database. Is there any way to find out when production ended for the BA-3000?
Yup, it looks like it is the latest one on file. We don't have any actual factory production records. The serial numbers in the database are our best record of production. It's a big reason the database was started. The addition of your serial number pushes the production range three month's longer. For low production units like the BA-3000, Sansui tended to build them in batches. In 1976 we know they were produced in February, April and yours was produced in July '76. So that adds another production batch. We need more serial numbers to get a better picture.
Looking at what was being built on production line 24 in 1976, they were building BA-5000s and CA-3000s in June and July. We only have four BA-3000s built on line 24 in '76, yours and three built in April. The BA-3000s built in February '76 were on line 23. In July of '76, the month your BA-3000 was made, we only have serial numbers from two CA-3000s built on line 24. They are #0128 and 0190. Yours was # 0068 so it was built before the CAs. There were probably 100 or so BA-3000s built that month. The only way to get a better picture is to record more serial numbers!
Hope that helps.
Seems like they still produced a few in late 1975...
We currently have 6 AU-9500s on file that were built in 1975. Yours makes 7 and is the most recent one we know of. Being built in October it expands the known production range by 3 months.
