2238 Help

I picked this 2238 up at the flea market for 30.00. It powers on and I attached a cassette player to it and it plays fine. The AM has no sound at all and the FM has volume but picks up no channels. Any ideas?

The first thing I'd check is the 300 Ohm cable from the tuner to the antenna connector at the back of the receiver and make sure you have conductivity on both sides of the 300 Ohm piece. :scratch2:

Looks clean,,Replace the lamps as long as you have the cover off
