2270 tuner indicator broken

Plastic tuner indicator was apparently super glued (or something) together by a previous owner at the 90degree.

Anyone have a source for a new one?

Where it is broken is really rough. Looks like a lousy previous repair attempt. Guess I could file down the two ends and maybe glue it together properly or put some thin plastic on either side and splint it.

Not sure I could remove the string without having to replace it if I get a new one.

Ugh! Its always something unexpected.

Auction site is your best bet. That pointer was used on several models. Expect the seller to be proud of it as it is otherwise unobtainium. I have repaired newly broken ones with superglue when the broken surfaces fit perfectly. But a previously repaired one would be difficult to salvage.

Looked on fleabay yesterday - no joy.
We will see . . .
Im thinking in lieu of price/availability I will prolly repair what I have.
