Months of messing with this 2500 and as of today its alive! Scope tube quite dim but found a junker 2110 parts unit with a nearly new tube. Many little problems to fix, broken power switch, cut power cord, failed power supply, noisy fan, multiple bad outputs on left channel so changed 'em all. Phono hum bad transistors all changed. Stuffed filter caps with 16 1800uF 160v electrolytics 25x45mm, United Chemi-Con, found a vendor with new ones in stock. Many great 2500 threads here on AK with needed tips on areas to update and upgrade. Much fun restringing the dial pointer. Much more work to do but have just received my wood cabinet from Joe (asaalah) and it is a beauty! So photos and a quick video for today's fun!
