This system is hooked to surround speaker system and plasma tv for video.
It is used for audio predominantly during get togethers. In addition to driving surround speakers, the Sony drives the speakers on back deck via wire and drives speakers by pool via fm transmitter. I used the second amp, 1 because I had it and 2 it makes the flexibility easier than programming the Onkyo. This way folks inside can watch tv while outside we can continue to listen to music.
All in all it is a nice and flexible arrangement. I do wish I had gone with the slightly bigger speakers for front channels. For tv/movies/gaming the audio is very nice. For 2 channel music it isn't as full as I like.
