Im working on a Yamaha R-2000 and Im having trouble finding this resistor.

Its a MPC722 .22 Ohm + .22 Ohm Double type. On the data sheet, in the remarks, it says resistor has idling terminal??

Any suggestions?

Emitter resistors on the power output transistors. You don't have to use this, you can wire in 2 x 5W 0.22 ohm resistors and it'll work just fine. "Idling terminal" means they stuck the pin at the junction of the two resistors up through the ceramic casing so you can get a clip on it. This is used as a test point to adjust the idle current of the output pair.

Many many amps use the dual package ceramics... here's an example replacement:

I thought I could use 2 5w .022 ohm bath tube resistors, as I have did that before. I just the Idling terminal thing threw me off a bit. Looks like you found the replacement anyway!! Thank you very much for the information!! After I get done with this board I hope to have a up a running yamaha!! Thanks again!

The R-2000 has two test points right beside this resistor so the one from MCM would be the cleanest repair, you don't need test points on the resistor itself.

ok, great

OK, Thanks. Kinda like the ones below?
