It's a TD166 that I bought off ebay, sans arm and board. I stripped it to the bare essentials, removed the cue mechanism, added an armboard and arm, and made a few cosmetic changes.

Sounds great. Someday an SME arm might improve things but, for now, I'm a happy camper.

Time invested so far - about 4 hours.

Nice job on the 166 makeover. Did you paint the outer rim or use an elastic band vibration dampener (seen them advertised on Ebay from a British source). Have always like the reddish mahogony base, really sets the table off.
