Hi.
I'm on my way to my first recap and transistor shotgun of my Pioneer SA-8100.
I have been lurking for a few months and found this site very helpful.
I'm a Mechanic by trade.
5 years as a AMS/AMH in the US Navy.
almost 30 years mechanic at United Airlines.
I brought my amp in for a repair and the guy was asking $700+ to recap it.
well... no dice... I'll give it a try. Why not?
so far so good.
but I am running into some conflicts with some BOMs on this unit which I will post in the proper area.
Anyway .that's my intro .
My typing is slow, and spelling grammar poor, please excuse that.
