Aerial socket issue. Cant get connection Sony.

Hello all,

I have a HCD-GP7 3 in1 CD radio and cassette. The aerial socket has broken off at the back. I tried to solder it back on ensuring it is connected to the housing that conducts/controls the aerial input (the bit that houses the am aerial input clips) but the broken socket does not want to connect back onn adequately to give any aerial reception. Is there any solution to this?
