Well, I know now the pics don't show up in my quotes, but on this one (post 13) you have pic #1 of Mc room #1 with the MC252 power amp, the MCD 1000 cd transport, and unknown pre with the small speakers.

Pics 2-3 are Mc room #2 with the dual monobloc mc 275s and some other stuff powering the XRT28 using the digital music server as source.
Speechless, was I. Heard two Floyd songs from The Wall and all of Scheherezade. I think I had goosebumps the whole time.
    Wow.

I don't know for sure but I think that would be in the Venus Hi-Fi/Blue Circle room. The Obelisks kind of give it away as well as the pre in the corner.

I haven't seen a Manley amp in a long time. What's the black thing on the bottom with the pretty green LED disply?

    Thanks for the pics Bolly!

I'd love to see Negotiableterms' SX-1980, which was supposed to be paired with state-of-the-art NHT speakers... :thmbsp:

Greg I hope the picture of the Manley tube amp is suffering from barrel distortion because if not that is one crooked looking amplifier. :) BTW the more of your pics I see, the more I notice how much Rick missed photographing. :tears:

My camera sucked the life out of the non-alch batteries offered in the lobby shop. But here are a few.
    1- In a tube mood
2- My two-armed Lenco before hauling it off to the Fest parking lot where it could be viewed out of the back of my van - like a freak sideshow.
3- More than Manley-enough (Right Order?)
    4- Almorro's clean tube intergrated
5- Andyman's homebrew record cleaner. Saw him demonstrate. Look just as effective as a VPI. Nice job Andy. Now where can I find one of those Ice Cream making motors?
6- Craig at NOSValves set-up with unpictured Klipch speakers. Nice sounding!

The CDP with the cool green glow is a Lector, from VenusHiFi.

The high heels are from MaryLou's wardrobe. They were doing yeoman service as cable elevators. Go to the Blue Circle site, and you will see what happens when she leaves her shoes lying around. Too bad the pics got lost in the server crash. MaryLou was at last year's Fest!

    The Stingray is somewhat 'delta'-shaped.

The AKFest 2005 pictures were saved from the crash with the rest of the gallery here.

Thanks to the old gallery, I was able to answer my earlier question -- the amps on Tubino's Tannoys are deHavilland Aries 845Gs.

thanks Zekeman, I like the looks of it too. Smiles when I turned it on, and smiles when it plays. What more could you want?
