AK March Madness brackets. Fill 'em out now!

22-19, Butler by 3 at the half, and this is the type of game they need it to be. UConn loves a track meet. Strange score, though

I can't believe they led after the bricks they were putting up most of the first. Very defensive 20 minutes both ways. Did someone finally find a way to contain Walker?

a bizarre final game, to be sure, but the run UConn put together to blitz the Big East tournament and then the NCAA field was legendary. Love seeing Jim Calhoun get another one, too, he's a class act

one player gets a hot hand and he will take the game over, and hopefully it will be Lamb for UConn

Lamb definitely came alive in the second half. I like defensive ball, but this game had too much clanging iron to credit good defense for it. It was just ice cold shooting from guys who are used to lighting it up. I know I picked UConn, but I was kind of on the fence on this one with the Cinderella factor and all. Heck, Butler probably netted me more points in the bracket game than UConn anyway.

Now it's almost time for Stanley Cup mode. Too bad there is no CBS bracket for that.:D I guess a seven game series doesn't lend itself to that.

I felt obligated to watch that clunker of a final. It's a sad night if I'm wishing Duke was playing.

I had a weird feeling after the game: it wasn't about who's gonna win. It was about who is not gonna loose. Well, I guess all that matters is a result. Congrats to UConn.

Congats to Uconn and also 313guy for winning our bracket. He has a whole year to hold it over our heads:) Well done folks...:tresbon:

FWIW, Dick Vitale is picking the Tar Heels to win it all next year...:scratch2:

Interesting that no one even came close to predicting a low scoring final total (94 points)

Congratulations 313guy. Although my picks somehow didn't get registered, a promise is a promise. You have some music coming your way. PM me with your tastes and I'll see what I can do.

Actually, I "kinda" did, called 120, but they didn't even break 100, so even my estimate was pretty off. ;) That was definitely a weird game.

Well played 313guy, you threw a beating on us all in the bracket.

Though it had a somewhat anticlimactic finale, the tournament was one of, if not the most exciting one ever. Very entertaining stuff.
