I just acquired it and have been reading about the transistors on these units. So far I have de-oxed the pots, cleaned the relays and heads. I probably should have left good enough alone but did tweak the playback head alignment. I didn't pay much for the deck and got it from the original owner. The heads look good and I have cleaned them with 99% denatured alcohol. The deck is in very good condition but I am sure needs an overhaul as it sat for 10+ years. Looking for some good direction in getting it restored.

Need some help, hopefully someone will chime in! These pots are a weak link with this RTR and need replacing. Today I broke one and need to replace it. Has anyone replace these on this unit? What are the replacement numbers? Eight are V10K-5 5kb, four are V10K-5 20kb, this covers all 4 boards in the amp/rec/playback section of this unit. I guess while I am in here what are the replacement transitor #’s? The unit is pretty noisy. Any help is appreciated!
