AKAI GX-4000D Repair in or Near Brooklyn, NY

Just hauled my AKAI GX-4000D out of mothballs and while it works mechanically, the pots are all crackly. I'm not up to taking it apart to deox them, so does anyone know someone in Brooklyn who can do it (preferably cheaply)?

It shouldn't be that difficult to do yourself. I have an earlier version of this deck, and it wasn't very hard. hifi engine has free manuals. You MAY have to take off the faceplate. I did, to remove it from the case. The pots are easy to get to after that. Ask questions when in doubt.
