Albert Finney left this planet, aged 82!

The best Scrooge ever.

I enjoyed his role in one of my favorite movies: "Miller's Crossing". RIP Mr. Finney.

(sigh!) Yet another big screen icon moves on to another stage...this one's the last he'll be on.

Great performances from his peak in the 60's. Finney even managed to add his authentic touch in his last movie (Skyfall) as the elderly grounds/house keeper for Bond's ancestral home. His sharp edged comments putting James in his place added some well done comic relief.

Albert had won more awards than one could count, yet five times that big "O" eluded him.

By many, he will be missed, but his genuine performances live on.

RIP. Mr. Finney. Your talent will be missed. Enjoyed watching him in a lot of movies

Hell, he was even good as Daddy Warbucks in "Annie". Guy was a fine, fine actor, and I too enjoyed him in Big Fish and that Bond film.

Millers Crossing was good too.

RIP sir.

Recently watch “Two for the Road”, Albert Finney and Audrey Hepburn, and last night, Erin Brockevich. Two movies, the first one early in his career and the second toward the end. He was great in both!
