One of a kind. Even to this day it's difficult to compare it to anything else. It's practically its own genre.

Apart from some of the well known monsters there are a few modern albums you could try. Every song is great, imo:

    Massive Attack - Protection
    Arctic Monkeys - AM
    Daft Punk - RAM
Kate Bush - 50 Words For Snow

And a little known band but which i strongly recommend to be discovered:
The Whitest Boy Alive - Rules
Some of the best pop rock ever, very original and well produced, a joy on a good system.

Yeah, I know, but it's just around the corner. Found this record at a thrift a few years back. It has become one of my favorite Christmas records. Am I biased? Of course. Is every moment worth a listen. Yes. It is unlike every and any Christmas record produced in the eighties. I can't wait to listen to this on the newly acquired Fisher tube integrated through the Belles. That's all I have to say 'bout dat.

Luther Wright & the Wrongs....Rebuild the wall. It is a blue grass rendition of Pink Floyd's The Wall. They are a Canadian alternative country band . The album is incredible ,they completely put their spin on every song . But it still feels like the wall.

  18. man in cave---that looks like a good one. i found a re-mix of the soundtrack music by the art of noise from the move 'the santa claus" starring tim allen and it is fantastic. rare too.

  19. slow-jazz,,,the video 'live from paris' is where i first heard that music. ALL GOOD. it shows the fantastic rapport that anthony wilson and diana have. engineered by al schmitt, ANOTHER reason to have both the LP and DVD. cd will do also in absence of the LP.

Great movie. I've never run across the soundtrack. I'd certainly buy if I saw it.
