Altec 3000G tweeters

Here's a slightly depressing fact. These Altec 3000G tweeters on eBay have been bid up above $300.00, which is a higher price than some of the intact 890 Boleros are fetching.

This seems like a strong economic driver to break up these rare and beautiful old speakers. I have always wanted a pair and it's a shame to see them disappearing.

I have a pair of Maderas but have long wanted a pair of Boleros. I wouldn't mind having the tweeters either.
