I THINK ITS TOO LATE FOR THAT!!!

    - I made that first comment Dec 13, Redboy seconded it Dec 14th and on we went ...
I even wrote Grumpy directly asking for an "ALTEC Archives" forum (or some such thing)
Since then, Christmas has passed, its nearly 2018,and we're 4 pages into this thread!
... all we can do now is wait'n'see what happens.

    Well Joe,
You were correct. I found a pair of Lafayette SK98 drivers. Really good SQ. Just waiting on the Japanese chick to show up! :)

    You're taunting me! ;)

In all seriousness, I am glad you've got a pair & glad you like 'em!
I really ought to play with the 6-ish inchers that I do have a pair of :)

What sort of box(es) do you have those in?

They are the 618 Altec cabs. Clones.

That is what I am using too, maybe I mentioned that above. Works out good.

I put some paperwork up on HiFi Engine with the factory recommended reflex cabs.

These seem quite easy to work with, unlike the 755A.They don't seem too picky about amplification either, again unlike the 755A.

I checked it out at HiFi. Thanks! Those are some good sized vented cabs in the article.
