Americas last steam powered cider mill.

When I was in high school in the mid-1960s, there was still a steam powered self contained commercial laundry a couple blocks down from the school with a horizontal mill engine powering the generator for electrical requirements that always stayed lit if everything else in town went dark.
Possibly the last of it's kind, the building sometime later burned to the ground, the engine room wreckage salvaged and put in storage by a Utah steam enthusiasts group, where afaik, it remains.

An aside, my high school and neighboring park was built on the site of the old prison where Joe Hill was held, tried, and excecuted.

Cool story, Steve. Now I find myself wishing for a taste of some real apple jack. Thanks.
