Amp for Infinity QB

the Carver is definitely capable of high current, it's a TFM magnetic field amp. Oodles of power.

into a 4 ohm load they're rated for 380 wpc both channels driven.
2 ohm load it's 560 wpc.

Good Point crusadr. So when folks say I need a 100w min to power the QBs are we talking 100w x 4ohm output? So I'm really looking for a 200w 8ohm amp that can handle 4 ohm loads right?

It's the other way, a 200WPC at 8 ohm, will be almost 400WPC at 4 ohm.

I'd look for a BIG amp if you can afford it. My Qb never sounded better than with a Peavey CS800, rated 240WPC at 8 0hm, 400WPC at 4 ohm.

I run them daily on a modest 25WPC amp, they sound nice, but not at their best. When I try some bigger amp, 100, 150WPC or more, they are awesome.

Finally found a pair of QB locally! Running it with my Hafler DH 200 at the moment. Started with the HK 770 (which I love) but I'm getting a cleaner more open sounds from the Hafler... is that due to the power output? I hadn't liked the Hafler on much else to date...
