I still got a 59 Cadillac still in the box that I need to get to one of these days.
I found that using Q-tips helps the Bare Metal Foil to smooth out better on compound shapes.. I did a 1/350 scale Jupiter 2 for "The Derelict" sci-fi model worked out just fine. I also used BMF on my "Mr. Gasser" chrome!
Damn Philo, your posts about your kit assemblies are like a time machine for me. As I have either owned or ridden in quite a few of them.Your attention to detail is superb. I would love to see your collection in person. HELL, I'd pay to see it.
I put the interior door panels into the body and carefully applied cement to the edges,then I closed the doors and put on a clamp.Ensured that the doors would open properly.
