Thanks for all the heartfelt welcomes. I'm still toying around with the equipment and added some Infinity QB's that I really like and today I picked up some 60's era Rectilinear 3's original to the seller's family. I met a fellow AK'er Mike there, he was looking at them too. We chatted audio for awhile and I went home with the speakers and early Kenwood amp and tuner. The 80 something owner didn't care to talk much about the speaks or the vintage Kenwood equipment but he was proud as hell of his turn of the century Victor victrola. He cranked it up and played a 78. It was awesome and I could tell he loved showing it off. I also learned where the saying "Throw a sock in it" comes from because he did exactly that!

So now I've got some projects to keep me occupied so I gotta stop getting more stuff. I pulled the covers off one of the speakers and the drivers look like new! The Kenwoods were dirty but operational. Here's picks of the Infinities and new old stuff.

Wrigleyville via Roseland until 1969 and Mokena/New Lenox until '94.

I guess I should have been more specific. I've been in Wrigleyville since '94. Walking distance to Saturday Morning Music Exchange. Honestly I walked past that place hundreds of times before going in there.
