I have traced my ancestors back to Great Gonerby in Lincolnshire, also Nottinghamshire (Dad was born there) and Yorkshire (He worked at Kilner's Glassworks before emmigrating to Canada).

Close enough?

Another Brit here....

I'm in Hull in Yorkshire. For those outside the UK, Hull is located on the East Coast and lies on the banks of the Humber Estuary.

We are around 200 miles north of London . We have around 250,000 resident in our town.

We are an industrial town and have extensive docklands. We are involved heavily in the Petrochemicals industry, seed crushing, pharmaceuticals manufacturing and paint manufacturing amonst other trades. We have some great links with all major european ports and also have an airport nearby.

On the outskirts of our town we have the Humber Bridge, which is the worlds second largest Suspension Bridge.

Welcome fellas! I was just practicing my British accent :D

I lived in Kenilworth for a year, my ancestors are from the north and I've still got mates in Bristol and London. Great country, wonderful people and home to Musical Fidelity....what's not to like.

Oh yeah, GO Williams/BMW :zoom:
