I had one for a while but never had it set up for quad. It has a great looking scope display and lots of setting to play with and or develop problems. Mine worked fine and had a pleasing analog sound. Didn't have much power and it took up a lot of real estate as well. I paid $35 for mine and sold it on craigslist for the same $35 after playing around with it for a couple years.
Set it up for 2 channel (in rear) and select the right switch and this receiver will rock. My QX 747 is in the garage with Dynaco A-50's and it easily rocks the house and the neighborhood.
