Picked up a bottle of Crown Reserve. I'd say it's a little better than regular Crown. Although, if you don't like Crown in the first place, the Reserve ain't gonna do it fer ya either.

My goto is Forty Creek or Forty Creek Copper Pot. Both excellent value.
For a little more, Dark Horse is superb. It's 45% abv .... 90 proof to you; but its not the least bit hot. Slightly darker amber color, and very flavorful.

If you're still looking, try Rich & Rare Reserve. Less than half the price of CR, about $10/750ml here. I actually prefer the regular R&R, but then I have a sweet tooth.

I really like Pendleton.

I just picked up a bottle of Pendleton last week. I've made a few whisky sours with it, and it goes down really smooth. I'm liking it! It has less of that "acid burn" reaction I had experienced with the cheaper stuff our store had. I still want to try Forty Creeks, but this one is really nice.
