Picked up a pair of Sony D-14's that need a little love. Maybe a lot of love.
Have the boxes, manuals, cords, power supplies, the works. They look like they've rarely/never been used.
One unit had the interior plastic cover delaminate. Should be able to fix it with some superglue, I hope. It's a weird design, where the CD clamp attaches directly to the plastic, which is/was glued to the metal lid. With no CD in the unit, there's a significant amount of clamping force which puts the opening stress directly on the plastic/metal adhesive barrier.
Additionally, this unit doesn't turn on.
Unit #2 looks mint, and works great, for about 15 seconds and then it starts skipping forward.
I'll download the manual, if it's available, but just seeing if anybody had any experience with these units.
