Anyone using a Denon DL-103 with their C-2a, C-4, C-6 preamp?

I've read some posts by people who are using a DL-103 (40 ohms output impedance) with their Yamaha preamp (50 ohms MC input impedance), but without much dialog on the result. I know that on paper, the DL-103R (14 ohms output impedance), which costs almost twice as much better matches the published Yamaha spec, but if you have tried the DL-103 with a Yamaha preamp, I would appreciate hearing your results.

I’ve used a DL-103 with my C-2x at 100ohms and it sounds quite good. 100ohms (or higher) is the recommended setting for the DL-103 from Denon.

Not a 103, but a DL-303 paired fine and sounded good on my C-4.

Do MC cartidges need diffferent loading ? I thought that was for MM only
