Trying to move some of my music from CD to a portable hard drive. Probably me being dense, but the owner's manual is almost worthless.
I'm trying to dub over 1,000 tracks to the hard drive but am stopped at 999. Is there a way to put a number of tracks into a folder, or any other approach, that will allow more than 1,000 tracks to be stored on a single hard drive?
    Thanks

I'm not sure what disk format you are using or what the Tascam unit is, but you can certainly put more than 999 tracks (files) on a harddrive. Try using a subdirectory or folder as they are called today as it will eliminate any root directory limitations.
