she's a triple agent, British agent assigned to Berlin. chief of station finds out she's a double,
then you find out near the end, she's the double for Russia. then at the end she eliminates
the CoS who thinks she's spying for the Russians (to keep her secret), then eliminates
the Russians who know she's a double. when she gets on the plane, you realize she's
a triple for the Americans. meanwhile Russians don't know and the British are happy.

CoS is killed for a number of reasons. he has the original watch. she gets a duplicate
from the watchmaker (assumed American), and later hands the duplicate (but without
list) to the Russians, then hands the original to Goodman on the plane. she had taken
it off CoS after she shoots him.

what's not revealed is how the east german spy has this list. and how she's on this list
as the double agent. which means the east germans are really good at this, but loses
the wall, the DPR falls, etc. and the Brits are happy that there are photos of CoS
with the Russians thereby supporting her theory he was the mole. then the brits
are ignorant of her getting on an American plane.

some of this is hinted by her meeting with Goodman in the middle of the movie -
let's call this a hint. then CoS doesn't have a English accent. hints, hints, hints.

highly stylized but far better than the crap out there ( you know the speeding
car, with flashes to the gas pedal being stomped on, the speedometer rising up,
the sound of the V8 getting louder, the car speeding past - 6 repeats)

If you like twists and turns, try "cold war 2" (Netflix) and the all time hit
"Infernal Affairs" but just part 1, and most of the Korean thrillers.

Last year at Comic Con they were in the street handing out the soundtrack on cassette.

Just saw the film. Very predictable. Best parts were the fight scenes and the music track by far. Wifey and I figured out the movie probably within the first 15 minutes or so.

Watchable, but there are far better films out there.

    So it goes.
