AU-11000 F-2570 Resistor Tied To Transistor

I'm replacing the 2sc1313 with KSA1845 as preventative maintenance during a full rebuild.

TR-05,06 on the F-2570 equalizer circuit board have a 1k resistor connected to the base of the 2sc1313 transistors. I want to replace them with KSA1845FTACT but I'm getting different readings when tested with my Peak Atlas DCA55.

The 2sc1313 are reading "LED or DIODE JUNCTION".

The KSC1845 are reading "NPN DIGITAL TRANSISTOR".

What does it all mean? Does the lower voltage of the tester show something that's irrelevant when it's in circuit at working voltage, or would this substitution make an unwanted change in the circuit?

If you are testing the tranny with the resistor tied to it in your tester, then I think you will confuse the tester. Especially if you reduce the voltage the tester is using to push thru the device.

So long as the new tranny and the resistor test OK separately, I would replace as per the old part configuration.

Thanks for the response slimecity!

I'll go with it for now but was hoping to hear from someone who has experience doing this with this unit in particular.
