    The parts arrived from Digikey. It's going to be awhile before I get to the soldering iron.

    Tell me; how should I set the values on the Bourns before I install them ?

    Should I measure the resistance on each leg of the VR's in my left channel ?

    That's the channel that didn't blow a Sanken.

    They are factory set at half track resistance when you receive them, that's good enough for most things.
    You can do, I guess with the idea of setting the Bourns replacements to the same resistance? - not a bad idea providing you read across the correct legs on the replacement trimmer when setting the resistance. ;)

    Remember EVERY major change you make, whether it be 'parts' or 'wiring' or whatever, should trigger the use of the DBT for the first power-up after each of these activities. :thumbsup:
