I've working on a BA-5000 which came with, Bridged fuses, one channel output and driver transistor fried, some bad resistors on the zobel network fried, and rust issues.
I got the power supply, and drivers boards in working condition
Let's call the output transformers 'Autoformer A" and 'Autoformer B'
./ I can adjust bias on the side that Autoformer B is connected.
./ Autoformer A is causing the unit goes in protection, it doesn't matter if is connected on the right side or the left side.
I don't know much about autoformers other that they are a very low resistance devices, and that they don't go bad often.
I don't know much about the unit, other that it was on bad shape and given the amount of rust and some water marks, probable got wet or at least was on a very humid for a long time.
My question would be... How can I test Autoformer A?
Thank you fellows.
Cheers!
