It wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but if you like Slacker Plus (a Pandora-like radio service, as opposed to on-demand) you can now get a year for $24.99. Sound quality at that price point is 320 kbps, and you get a decent, though by no means best in class selection of channels. To me, the most eccentric thing is Slacker's news/talk: ABC, ESPN, Marketplace from PRI, couple of other minor things.
