Bedroom Marantz system

Nope...not a classic 70s 23xx series receiver...it’s a Legacy Series from the 80s that’s supposed to be junk. Well, much to my surprise it doesn’t suck; in fact I dare say it sounds pretty good. I’m using a Bluetooth adapter and Spotify as the main source but I use the tuner often as well. The tape deck came with it and everything works/looks great, all for the budget-breaking sum of $25.

Nice find. Can’t do wrong with Marantz IMO.
As long as it sounds good to you; roll with it. And at $25, you can’t :whip:it.

Everything but the knobs is made of metal, not BPC. The integrated is quite heavy and other than the cheap speaker clips..which most everything from the 70s had anyway...it feels solid. The tuner and tape deck aren’t anything to write home about but if everything still works after 30 years they did something right.
 
Marantz is like pizza and sex, even if it wasn't the greatest model it's still pretty good. And you probably wouldn't say no to it.
