Best adhesive for heat sinks?

I need to secure a heat sink to the board for stability purposes.

Not sure what kind of adhesive to use.

See the pic. The heat sink in the pic has some old adhesive on it to keep the heat sink from stressing and side loading the transistor leads and solder pads.

they are normally soldered in by the tabs that go through the pcb .. it might be assembly glue .

Needs to be something that will handle the heat, something that is removable without hurting the board.

I'm not sure it is in this case, but cyanoacrylate (basically, super glue with an accelerator) is often used in electronic manufacture to hold things to boards. I've seen it turn brownish with heat like that. But silicone adhesive will work, too, and will likely handle heat better.

Why do you need to remove it again and again?

I wouldn't as far as to say I need to remove again and again, however in the unfortunate event that they need to come off, it would be great to do so without removing a chunk of the board with the heat sink.
