Freebo is Daniel Friedberg, Bonnie Raitt's bass player through the early '80s. He played the Fender Fretless Bass and was born in Mahanoy City, PA., just up the road from me. No Bonnie Raitt show in that era was complete without stoners yelling FREEBO!!!! between numbers.
